Sometimes we need to jump-start our education. I just received these two manuals in the mail. WOW! John Mosby is off the chain great. It is going to take me sometime to get through all the good information in these manuals.
You would be well advised to check out John’s blog. https://readfomag.com/category/blogs/mountain-guerrilla/.
He does not sugar coat things, so if you are sensitive, stay away. The information contained in these manuals will most certainly safe your life.
All the best and keep learning.
I am a fan of many martial art systems. My current focus is however, Krav Maga. More specifically, the IKMA Krav Maga that is being taught by advanced black belt and IKMA U.S. Chief Instructor David Kahn. A great Podcast about David Kahn can be found at http://www.artofmanliness.com/2017/02/10/podcast-277-krav-maga-self-defense-system-israeli-special-forces/
My goal is to start developing a Martial Way. A great book, “Living the Martial Way: A Manual for the Way a Modern Warrior Should Think by Forrest E. Morgan, is a great resource for developing your way.
There are many definitions of the Martial Way, but I like this one, “a Martial Way is living a lifestyle that prepares you for war or conflict everyday of your life”. WOW! I have a lot of work to do.
The question is, how do I incorporate Krav Maga into all aspects of my daily life and not just on Tuesday and Thursday nights. I am not sure I have all the answers yet, but let the journey begin. My new motto is “Train Today for Tomorrow’s Battles”.
So have you considered developing a Martial Way? If so, I would love to hear about it.
All journeys start with a step. Your first step on the Combat Hard path should be to purchase these two books. In these books, Mr. Woods has given you a blueprint to start the Warrior journey. Read, study and absorb each of these. A big thanks to Brian Woods for the great knowledge received from his written word.
It is May 12, 2017. Today, I start writing again about Self Protection, Self Defense and Personal Safety. It will be slow going, so please stay with me. I have renamed the blog, the “Way of Combat Hard”. This will be the new focus. Chat soon and stand by for many great things. Steven
